Submission Rules

Locally Sponsored Online Events

To have an announcement of a locally sponsored event posted in the Member's Area of the SAA Webpage, a completed version of the following form he must be emailed to the Webmaster well before the event.

"SAA members of/in (group/geographic location name) will hold (name of event) on (dates). The event, which has as its theme, will feature (highlights). Registration will begin at (time/date). (List what is included in registration fee) are included in the $xx registration fee. To receive a registration form or for more details, call (contact name(s)) at (phone number(s)/e-mail address(es)). This event is sponsored and coordinated by individual members of SAA and/or autonomous registered SAA groups and is done so independently of the ISO of SAA, Inc. which merely provides this announcement as a service to those individual members and/or autonomous groups."

Please note that if a different format is requested or if the announcement mentions any other organization besides SAA, it must be brought to the SAA Board of Trustees for pre-approval. This can take months, since the Board only meets five times a year and new business items often fall at the end of agenda and are not covered until the next meeting. If the Webmaster decides that the submission will have to be reviewed by the Board, he will notify the submitter one time, giving them an opportunity to revise it.
